first of all, apologies for lack of updates... Film Collective undergoing revamp.

So, saw this film last night. In the squeaky leather sofa of director's hall at Showcase in Leicester avec Poco, courtesy of Navik.

Opted for the Pepsi Raw. This is cola on a whole new level. Try it.

The film has a similar look and feel to Cassavete's earlier The Notebook. An moving depiction of a family dealing with cancer.

The odd use of titles when characters begin their observations are kinda funny and I guess they are there to highlight the transition of the story from book to film. As is the generic story book font for the main titles / grainy super8 footage / and projection of this over the pages of a book turning over.

A good film.
