Nine (that musical)

This is a strange ol' musical. The narrative feels tired and the protagonist unlikable until near the end when it all seems to resolve quite surprisingly. Day-Lewis is pretty darn incredible as the Italian filmmaker and there are some good songs in it too. The female characters all offer clever and strong elements to the narrative which keep it from being very uninteresting.
