this film was weird.
it's a kind of cool idea but done on such a scale and i that style it sucked.
there were so many car crashes.
the 'villain' bore heavy resemblance to the librarian in Halo, and was kinda lame anyway.
the usual heroes in front of the american flag shots were in there.

i didn't really get it.

Isn't it just a rough remake of North by Northwest? Same as Disturbia/Rear Window.

um kinda similar i guess. iv not seen north by northwest, but I think it sounds better.

Eagle eye is kind of like a mish mash of a load of films, trying to apply them to Shia LaBeouf and Michelle Monaghan. Whereas this approach to filmmaking can work well a la post modernist shtuff like Coen brothers and Quentin Tarantino, this D.J.Caruso fella seems to get it just a bit off the mark. His previous film with LaBeouf, Disturbia, is apparently in a lawsuit about how much of a remake of rear window it was. cool.

Rear window can't be re-made. Shia LaBeouf sucks, he should go back to being 'even stevens' where he belongs.
